About Elio Grasso
Situated in Monforte d Alba, this winery describes itself first and foremost as grape farmers, honouring those working with nature and the dedication of the farmers. Taking from tradition, Elio Grasso decided to vinify and bottle the grapes from different vineyards separately, ensuring that the authenticity of the grape was shown in the wine. Producing mainly Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto, they produce no more than 90,000 bottles of wine, ensuring the consistency and attention of a small-scale business and excelling in the wine they produce. The wines will age for several months in the cellar, which allow it to have the potential for more ageing whilst also being appreciated young.
