Michel Tardieu, a former civil servant with an intense passion for wine, brings a meticulous approach to selecting growers and parcels, focusing on low yields and old vines, often between 50 and 100 years old. Dominique Laurent, originally a pastry chef and later a celebrated Burgundy négociant, contributed his expertise in élevage and barrel selection, although he has since stepped back from daily operations, leaving Michel Tardieu as the driving force.
