About Domaine Pierre Labet
Among the characteristics that distinguish this domaine is that of preferring the vinification in the purity of the vines, some cases with single cru cuv e and use of Vielles Vignes. This is how wines of great purity and intensity are born, such as Bourgogne Chardonnay Vieilles Vignes, Bourgogne Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes, Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes and Beaune Coucherias 1er Cru. Also interesting is the Rouge 'Metis' of the Jura, the Vin Jaune Domaine Labet based on Savagnin and branded C tes du Jura AOC. Also interesting are the Cremant du Jura and the Fleur de Savagnin Les Parcelles Rares, a real gem produced in the Burgundy style. Wines obtained from carefully selected grapes and grown with passion and love for nature, in an organic regime, without the use of clones. Even in the cellar, the processes start from respect for the raw material, following non-interventionist practices aimed at the maximum expression of the varietal and the splendid and unique terroir. So, go ahead to the exclusive use of indigenous yeasts, cold pre-fermentation macerations and slow and long fermentation, as nature wants. This is followed by equally long maturation and refinement, with new wood used in a responsible and precise way. These processes are carried out within Ch teau de la Tour, an estate located in the heart of Burgundy, which has belonged to the Labet family for over 5 centuries.
