About David Leclapart
The David Leclapart estate has 3 ha of vines with a large majority of David L clapart, passionate and studious of the rhythm of the vineyard and wine, inherited the family vineyards after the death of his father and fully committed to biodynamic viticulture. The alchemy of the terroir, climate, vine, and man's work stimulates his spirit of the vigneron and he works according to his philosophy the 3 hectares of vineyard that he owns, 90% planted with chardonnay and the rest with pinot noir, located on the Montagne de Reims. Champagne of great purity and elegance, and with a tasty complexity derived from the calcareous soils of Tr pail. David L clapart's vines breathe health, man, the joy of living in his environment, a positive attitude, a conviction in biodynamic agriculture: it could only result from the champagnes linked to this pedigree. In its different cuv es (Amateur, Artist, Apostle and Alchemist) have all won us over with their sincerity and diversity. L'Amateur is a Blanc de Blancs (100% Chardonnay) raised in second-hand barrels bought from Domaine Leflaive in Burgundy. His champagnes do not come to you with great blows of 'enticing' aromatic structures. They do not represent the champagne which is given and delivered from the first glass, it is its opposite: subtle and complex, sometimes open, sometimes closed (requires an opening in advance or even passed in a carafe) and always pure: a living juice ...
