About Podere Forte

An assembly of personality. Pasquale Forte has a passion. The earth. It is a passion with ancient origins; Calabrian parents owned land, vines and olive trees. Then the transfer of the family to Lombardy, the studies, the entrepreneurial adventure, which continues today, bring Pasquale Forte's ambition towards other destinations, other satisfactions. But the land and its products of choice, wine and oil, represent an irresistible appeal for him. The Podere that takes its name today is of ancient lineage. After belonging over the centuries to the Petrucci family, a historic Sienese family, it had passed from hand to hand following the thousand tortuous divisions between the heirs. Forte is looking for a farm to make a dream come true. The Podere is an owner who brings it back to its former glory. The meeting takes place thanks to the research of the architect Fabrizio Zambelli. And it is immediately a great project: to redevelop those lands to produce a di-vino wine. Any producer who puts their energy wholeheartedly into biodynamic agriculture gets anyone's respect, doubled in spades if they go the extra mile to get the piece of paper. Whatever one thinks about some of the more fascinating aspects, biodynamics is a hugely effective methodology for farmers to forge deeper connections and understanding with their land. Dedication produces quality, the proof is with Podere Forte.
