The estate traces its origins to 1980, when Vincent Girardin, born into a family of winegrowers in Santenay, decided to create his own domain with just two hectares inherited from his parents. Over the years, the estate expanded significantly, acquiring prestigious parcels in some of the region’s most celebrated appellations, including Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Meursault, and Pommard.
Today, the Vincent Girardin estate is recognized for its commitment to expressing the unique terroirs of Burgundy through both white and red wines. The domaine covers approximately 20 hectares, with vineyards managed according to sustainable and organic principles.
