Rocca di Frassinello is a distinctive wine estate located in the heart of the Maremma region of Tuscany, Italy. The project was established in 1999 as a collaboration between Paolo Panerai, owner of the historic Castellare di Castellina winery in Chianti, and Domaines Barons de Rothschild-Lafite, one of Bordeaux’s most prestigious names. Their vision was to unite the best traditions of Italian and French winemaking, harnessing the unique terroir of Maremma to produce wines of exceptional character and quality.
The estate covers approximately 500 hectares, with around 90 hectares under vine.
