Fattoria Zerbina winery
The oenological history of Fattoria Zerbina began in 1966 but the qualitative change took place in 1987 when Cristina Geminiani - her brother Vincenzo followed shortly thereafter - took over the management of the company, immediately aiming at the enhancement of Sangiovese and Albana. Thus, were born respectively the Pietramora and Scaccomatto wines and subsequently Marzieno, a Sangiovese / Cabernet Sauvignon blend that in the last seven vintages has given Fattoria Zerbina many awards. At Fattoria Zerbina, life has another flavour. First and foremost, everything is handpicked as tradition upholds a strong value at the farm, but modernization is also a future aspect in other areas of production. Fattoria Zerbina has a sincere passion for wine, the fruit, the earth and work, and the sincere smile of the people who produce it. It has the character and culture of the area, open, welcoming, hospitable. And it has the wisdom of winemakers who over time, learning to govern the entire cycle of wine, have made it excellent. From the vocation of territory to the tradition of a culture, the Wines Fattoria Zerbina tell their places of origin, the personality of those who live there, a true story.
