Domäne Wachau stands as one of Austria’s most celebrated wine producers, situated in the heart of the Wachau Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site along the Danube River. The estate is a cooperative, owned by approximately 250 local grape growers, and is headquartered in the village of Dürnstein. With a rich history dating back to the 18th century, Domäne Wachau has become synonymous with the unique terroir and steep terraced vineyards of the region, which are carved into the valley’s rocky slopes and benefit from a distinct microclimate.
