About Domaine Anne Gros
Domaine AF GROS is an estate located in Burgundy, in Pommard, which was founded by Anne-Fran oise GROS. The creation of the Domaine dates back to 1988. Fran ois PARENT, originally from Pommard, is Anne-Fran oise's husband. He has been the winemaker of the Domaine's wines since its creation. Its know-how and reputation are recognized worldwide and its wines are a perfect expression of Pinot Noir, a unique combination of elegance and depth. At 25 years old, Anne saw the family domaine grow from 3 to 6.5 ha. Recently, she invested in a new cellar. She is a winegrower suspicious of certitude and fastidious about maintaining her freedom. As a woman winegrower, Anne knew how to prove herself and convince all who doubted her ability to manage a domaine. She showed that she had not only the shoulders but the head to make her family heritage one of the greatest domaines of Burgundy. In 1984 she had to stop studying Arts to study viticulture and oenology in Beaune and Dijon. Now her passion for vine and wine as well as her talent, sensitivity and professionalism posit her as a winemaker amateur can rely on. Mother of three children, Anne spends all her time working at the Domaine and taking care of her family. Today, two of their three children work on the Estate, Caroline and Mathias. The brother and sister share the wine-making, and the other the management, development and marketing of the Domaine's wines. In 1995, the domaine restructured taking the name domaine Anne Gros.
