About Domaine Jean Marc Bouley
Domaine Jean Marc & Thomas Bouley . The wines of Jean Marc and Thomas Bouley. The company is located in the heart of the country of Volnay. The domaine is currently managed by Thomas Bouley: his father, Jean-Marc (it was he who, during the 1980s, extended the vineyard hectares of the domaine and began to completely bottle his own production ), retired from the scene in 2012 and has left the management of the current 8.5 ha of the family to his son; the domaine has come to own up to 17 ha, most of which were vineyards of 'regional denomination', so it was decided to monetize most of them forfocus on the most attractive aoc of Volnay, Pommard and Beaune. The young Thomas, who represents the fourth family generation of vignerons, boasts experiences in New Zealand (Felton Road)and the United States (Willamette Valley in Oregon) and Burgundy ( in 2004 he worked at the domaine des Epeneaux, in Pommard, then also at Jadot, with Jean-Pierre Diconne in Auxey-Duresses and with Jean-Luc Joillot in Pommard ), and was immediately recognized as one of the most promising vignerons in the region.
