Champagne In the village of A in the Vallee de la Marne, one of the most seasoned winemakers and a family name synonymous with quality have launched a brand-new venture called Christian Gosset. The Gosset family has lived in A for more than 500 years, and Christian is particularly interested in praising this region's great pinot noir terroirs. In 1584, Pierre Gosset made the first bottle of wine mentioned in the family history. The first bottles of Gosset-Brabant Champagne were created in the 1930s by descendants Gabriel Gosset and his wife Andree Brabant. After World War II, their son Jean Gosset and his wife continued to expand the domain, which was then given to their children, brothers Michel and Christian, who continued to produce wine together until 2015.
