About Aurore Casanova
After a professional and international artistic career during which Aurore danced on the stages from Bangkok to San Francisco, she bowed out on that of the Zurich Opera House in 2011 to join the family estate, planted in 1968 by her mother in the great mountain of Reims. From the meeting of Aurore international dancer and Jean Baptiste prosthetist for people having been amputated, the Aurore Casanova estate was born. They decide to adopt a philosophy respectful of people and the environment to offer generous champagnes, sharing, celebration and gastronomy. The Domaine is fortunate to work with most of the soils of the AOC, Champagne. The assembly of Reims with the confidential terroir of Puisieulx, the cote des blancs with the brilliant terroir of Mesnil sur Oger, the Marne valley with the marl terroir of Champvoisy, and finally the capital with Epernay for a total area of ??3ha50. An environmental and human approach is our philosophy in the vineyard. No synthetic herbicide or insecticide, we apply biodynamic principles in order to pass on healthy soil to our children and to harvest healthy grapes to make good wines. During my apprenticeship in my mother's vineyards in Puisieulx, I discovered a real passion for the land and its secrets, and I was inspired by ancestral know-how allowing me, by developing methods of cultivation, to see it grow. the fruit of my labor like a gardener, then to offer bubbles of hedonism and happiness.
