About Poggio San Polo

San Polo represents an endless horizon with a breathtaking panorama, where you can immediately grasp the perfection of the microclimate. There are enchanting and amazing places remembered for their beauty. And there are those remembered for the emotions they evoke. San Polo is all of this, a special place in the heart of Tuscany where you can be soothed by a deep sense of peace and well-being.But not only that: San Polo has also taught me to look forward, to broaden my horizons, and to never give up. San Polo s vineyards are located at 400-450 meters (1312-1476 feet) above sea level and the soils are quite poor and stony, composed mainly of galestro (schistous clay), and are very suitable for harnessing Sangiovese s vitality by limiting yield in favour of grape quality. A fine job of parcelling has allowed us to separately manage each single vineyard in order to maximize the potential of a truly unique terroir.
