About Armelle et Jean Michel Molin

A family domain was created in 1987 by Armelle and Jean-Michel Molin. It is composed of 7 hectares with regional wines, villages, Premiers Crus and Grands Crus. 14 appellations are produced there, shared over 3 municipalities. The wines are Red, Ros and White. Tradition remains very present combined with modern methods. We decided in 2007 to work all our plots in organic farming, to preserve the soil, the plant, the wine, and at the end of the chain human health. Fixin is generally a very colourful wine. Its structure is often very tannic. With good acidity, this wine is robust and well-structured and made for cellaring. As its ages, Fixin loses its astringency and becomes finer and richer. GRAND CRU Molin has 1 Grand Cru from the Gevrey-Chambertin commune bio Ecocert Molin I work in the vineyards with the horse. The Molin are 5th generation Paysan winemakers and have a 6.5 ht domaine divided into 40 parcels, with an annual production of nearly 30,000 bottles per year. The three Grand Cru plots of Mazy Chambertin (0.42 ht) are made up of very old vines that are worked exclusively by hand or with the horse. Producers of wines in the Ancienne, in this domaine the flavors of 30 years ago are found with Fixin that express the originality of fruit with a unique and vertical intensity, with an austere and vibrant taste that places them, according to tradition, among winter wines.
