About San Fabiano Calcinaia
The San Fabiano Calcinaia Farm is located in the hills of the prestigious Chianti landscape. The manor house and the cellars are part of a small medieval village dating back to around the year 1000 AD. Guido Serio and his wife Isa arrived in San Fabiano in 1983 and immediately committed themselves to investments aimed at producing quality wines. The renewal of the vineyards and the wooden aging cellar are gradually the steps that have taken place over time. Today San Fabiano Calcinaia produces wines appreciated all over the world: the vintage Chianti Classico, the Chianti Classico Riserva 'Cellole', the Cerviolo Rosso, the Cabernet Sauvignon IGT, the Casa Boschino Igt, the Cerviolo Bianco IGT, a small production of Vin Santo from Chianti Classico and Grappa from Chianti Classico Cellole ; besides, of course to the fragrant and fragrant Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The San Fabiano Calcinaia farm is located in Tuscany in Castellina in Chianti in the province of Siena. Founded in 1983, it is owned by the Serio family who immediately committed to major investments to produce quality wine, focusing above all on the renewal of the vineyards and the construction of the cellar. The territory in which it stands is extremely suited to viticulture: the characteristics of the soil and climate of the Chiantigiano are suitable for the cultivation of fine grapes and therefore for the production of excellent wines.
