Chateau Lalande De Gravelongue is Located in Medoc in the Bordeaux wine region of France. The winery was founded in 1987. The current owner of the winery is Christian Nielsen, who acquired the winery in 1995. Chateau Lalande De Gravelongue has 15 hectares of vineyards. The vineyard is located in the town of Valeyrac in Medoc. The soil of the vineyard is gravel and clay. The vineyard is planted with the classic traditional grape varieties of Bordeaux wine region, of which 51% of the red grape varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc ,3 % Malbec, 4% Petit Verdot with a density of 800 vines per hectare and an average vine age of 35 years.
