About Ca` del Bosco
The story of this majestic wine began in 1968 with a purchase by Annamaria Clementi Zanella of a small house located on the Erbusco hill, Lombardy. A property immersed in dense chestnut wood, which is beautifully captured in its name 'Ca 'del Bosco'. The high quality that today characterizes this prestigious Franciacorta reality is the result of the far-sighted passion conveyed from a very young age by Maurizio Zanella. Andr Dubois, who had a valuable experience in Champagne behind him, defined the stylistic imprint of all the wines of Ca 'del Bosco. Today, the main characteristic of the cellar and also of the whole Franciacorta is the result of a very long aging process that lasts for at least seven years in contact with the yeasts in the legendary underground dome. In 1994 Ca 'del Bosco became part of the Zignago Group of the Marzotto family, to which a new impulse is due to the technological innovation of the Ca' del Bosco winery, making it in a few years one of the most modern and advanced wineries in Italy. In this important acquisition, neither the identity of the winery nor the more traditional values of the production process, carried out without compromise, have been lost. The grapes are carefully selected by expert hands, then left to soak in the so-called 'grape spa', to obtain an almost perfect cleaning to give wines of undeniable purity. A personal idea of the Franciacorta Method that deserves the proper name of the C del Bosco Method.
